Many people think that just by working out they can make dramatic changes to their physique.  Not true.  Poor eating habits can quickly negate hard fought efforts in the gym. Often this happens to people with the best intentions to lose weight and keep it off.  There is a lot of misinformation and many fad diet plans that lead people astray and actually end up sabotaging their metabolisms. The real key to dramatic and permanent fat loss is a long term eating strategy that does the following:

Program Outline
We offer both an 8 and 12 week tract. Initially, you meet with Lu for a nutritional assessment.  Next, Lu will set up a customized meal plan using our state-of-the-art software Dietmaster Pro, which was created by registered dietitians.  Your plan will include a specific template that matches your goals to a detailed grocery list.  From there you will set follow up sessions every 2 weeks to review your progress and for coaching.  All LIVEWELL participants will also be given an exclusive online Dietmaster Pro account that will allow you to journal and allow us to see how you are doing and support you between sessions.

In addition, there will be a monthly "Nutrition 101 Seminar" along with a supermarket tour.  These are typically held in the evenings and on weekends and you are welcome to attend any of them.

Why Our Program Works
There are a lot of weight loss programs out there.  Many of them take a cookie cutter approach where one diet is supposed to fit everyone.  At Puravida Fitness, we approach each person as an individual and help them with their own personal obstacles using one on one nutrition consulting.  This is where the accountability comes in.  You meet with our nutrition consultant and together, lay out a realistic, effective plan and periodically assess your progress toward your goal.

We will also be there to support you and help you create strategies to manage obstacles such as busy schedules, eating out and social events.  The LIVEWELL program also includes two group seminars each month.  These seminars are a great way for our participants to develop camaraderie and connect with other participants. 

In addition, you will learn key concepts that will change the way you make choices for the rest of your life and keep you healthier and leaner for the long haul.

We feel that mixing the individual  consulting sessions and the group formats allows us to offer the best of both worlds. Customization for each participant but also peer support and education for the whole group.
